Peniche belongs to the Oeste region of Portugal, covers 77.55 km\u00b2 and has four parishes: Atouguia da Baleia, Ferrel, Peniche and Serra d’El-Rei.<\/p>\n

It borders the municipalities of \u00d3bidos and Lourinh\u00e3 and the Atlantic Ocean, about 80 km from Leiria, the district capital, and 100 km from Lisbon.<\/p>\n
